What we collect
LifeFit only collects what is necessary to deliver a personalized, adaptive fitness experience. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers.
- Account identifiers: email address, user ID, and authentication tokens managed securely by our authentication provider.
- Onboarding inputs: goals, schedule constraints, equipment access, dietary preferences, and fitness experience level — used solely to generate your personalized plans.
- App engagement: workout completions, meal logs, check-ins, hydration entries, and recovery scores to power your Momentum system.
- Device signals: basic device type and OS version for performance optimization and crash diagnostics.
Account data
Your account is anchored to your email and a secure, hashed password managed by our authentication infrastructure. We do not store plaintext passwords.
You may update your email or reset your password at any time from Settings. If you change your email, all plan history and momentum data remain intact.
Fitness & wellness data
Workouts, meals, recovery scores, sleep check-ins, and body metrics belong to you. This data is used exclusively to:
- Generate and adapt your weekly workout and meal plans.
- Calculate your Momentum Score and Recovery insights.
- Deliver intelligent coaching feedback via the AI Coach.
Fitness data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is scoped to your account only.
Payment processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant provider. LifeFit does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or billing details on our servers.
We retain subscription status, billing cycle, and invoice history so you can manage your membership from the Billing page. You may cancel anytime without penalty.
Analytics & tracking
We use privacy-first analytics to understand how the app performs and where users encounter friction. This helps us improve the experience without invading your privacy.
- Page views, feature usage, and error rates are collected anonymously or pseudonymously.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.
- You may disable analytics tracking via your browser's Do Not Track settings or by contacting support.
AI personalization
LifeFit uses AI to adapt plans, generate meal suggestions, and provide coaching feedback. Here's how we handle data in AI interactions:
- Your fitness goals, preferences, and recent activity context may be sent to AI models to generate personalized responses.
- AI providers do not retain your data for model training purposes when processed through our secure gateway.
- Sensitive health data is never included in AI prompts beyond what is strictly necessary for coaching relevance.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored in enterprise-grade, SOC 2 compliant cloud infrastructure with automatic encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
- Database rows are protected by Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Service-role access is restricted to server-side operations only and never exposed to the client.
- Regular security audits and dependency scans are performed to maintain a hardened posture.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: erase your account and all associated data (see Account Deletion below).
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction: limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.

Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing support. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Upon deletion, all personal data, plans, logs, and momentum history are purged from active systems within 30 days. Backups containing your data are automatically rotated and purged within 90 days.
Note: anonymized, aggregated statistics used for system health monitoring may persist but cannot be linked back to you.
Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves or as legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated via email and an in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect.
Continued use of LifeFit after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
